Culinary Accomplishments
January 12th, 2009 @ 1:42 am UTC by evanTwo accomplishments for today:
First, I made tortilla soup for dinner, using Mom’s recipe. It turned out really well, although it was very, very filling.
Second, for the first time, I actually made something that could be said to resemble latte art. Ever since I got a cappuccino machine at the apartment, I’ve been trying to pour latte art, and I finally pulled it off tonight. It looked very similar to this random image I found on the internet, although the leaves were curling around the edge of the cup, and there weren’t quite as many of them.
Unfortunately, I didn’t take a picture. It was on the first cup of coffee I made tonight, and I was convinced that I could do it again, only better – a few more leaves, a little more bunched together. Of course, the other two cups were nowhere close. Maybe next time?
Just when you were about to be deleted…..
Welcome back.
And next time you are in Nashville, check out the latte art at Portland Brew.
You do realize that we mere mortals cannot read any posts after the scambled eggs b/c it is in some sort of web geek speak.
Those posts are generated as a result of me publishing source code that I’m working on. It’s part of my theory of pulling in information about what I’m doing from sources other than what I write on here directly.
That being said, the most recent post is a bit absurd. That wasn’t intentional, and I’ve cleaned it up.
Well, good. Because they have redone the njcl forums and I can only take so much change at a time. the have also redone naqt.com
Oh wow! Someone finally redid the NJCL website. Good for them! It’s about time someone pulled that off.
I think the Tech Coordinator has been trying for as long as there’s been a Tech Coordinator.
Oh hmm…they paid someone. Well, that’s still an improvement.
But now I am a “newbie” instead of some advanced kind of glue.
